Ayodhya is being fortified with a help of manpower and technology, including AI-powered cameras and drones with anti-drone features for the upcoming Ram Mandir’s grand ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony on January 22.
The UP police is getting the support from all religious groups, who are cooperating with authorities to make the event a historical success, according to sources.
“This is going to be a successful event. Nothing major we see which is troubling any security agency of state or centre. No international threat is visibly seen so far and the Ayodhya administration is all set to manage all events successfully. Muslim groups are also on board and are fully cooperating with the local administration. They have ensured all support for this event,” top intelligence sources told CNN News18.
They said that to keep a close eye on everything during the ceremony, UP police have positioned the best technology, and even after the grand temple’s inaugural event, there will be a “Ram Rajya” in Ayodhya.
“UP police is using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to keep a close watch on every happening in the sacred city. Anti-mines drones with AI data and other top security devices are being used by UP police for aerial and ground surveillance. AI CCTV cameras will also be installed across the city to take care of any problem in future. The software used in these cameras will capture faces and will keep them in the database to recognise or match them with any future trouble,” the sources added.
In a bid to establish strong security during and after the ‘pran pratishtha’ event, the Ayodhya administration is installing 10,000 CCTV cameras in the entire district. Further, multilingual policemen in plain dress will also be staffed at the venue.
Further, the anti-terror squad of Uttar Pradesh police is on high alert and around 100 snipers have been installed in Ayodhya.
“Around 10 Anti Ballistic Vehicles will surveil the city. Around 25 thousand radicals and criminal backgrounds individuals are on the radar of UP ATS from across the country,” sources in ATS said.
The inner area of the city, from the Saryu River to the temple will be protected by ATS special commandos, they added.
