Award-winning Author Dr. Rita Chowdhury’s “Zero Hour” to ignite cultural exchange in Bangladesh

The literary world awaits with bated breath as Dr. Rita Chowdhury, the distinguished writer and recipient of the esteemed Sahitya Akademi Award, prepares to embark on a momentous journey to Bangladesh. From April 19 to 23, Dhaka will play host to a series of high-profile events, headlined by the official launch of Dr. Chowdhury’s latest literary gem, “Zero Hour.” “Zero Hour” stands as a testament to Dr. Chowdhury’s narrative prowess, offering a compelling portrayal of the Bangladesh Liberation War. Originally penned in Bengali, the novel has garnered widespread acclaim, resonating deeply with audiences both locally and internationally.

The launch event, graced by Bangladesh’s Foreign Minister Mohammed Hasan Mahmud, is poised to be a beacon of cultural exchange and historical remembrance. Accompanying dignitaries include Mohammad Nurul Huda, Director General of Bangla Academy, Bangladesh, and Bir Pratik Habibul Alam, Crack Platoon Leader, further elevating the event’s significance.
