‘Avatar: The Way Of Water’ heads for 300-crore mark at the Indian box-office

The film earned Rs 12 crore nett on its second Friday, bringing the film’s overall collection to Rs 200 crore nett. As per the report of boxofficeIndia.com, the major collections are coming from the South side of India, which contributes around 50 percent of all Indian collections.

‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ faced competition from Telugu film ‘Dhamaka’ which opened a net of around Rs 6 crore at the box office which is quite good. However, James Cameron’s film maintained its weekend on the circuit.

After crossing the $500 million mark, just five days after its release at the global box office, James Cameron’s ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ continues to cross the Rs 300 crore mark at the Indian box office.
