Dengue cases rise in Nepal

Dengue outbreak has increased in Hetouda, the headquarters of Bagmati province. As many as 112 people have been infected with the disease in the last 24 hours, and one person has died from the disease in Hetouda sub-metropolitan city. Due to overcrowding in the hospital, dengue patients are facing problems in getting treatment at Hetouda Hospital. The hospital has allocated one bed to treat two patients. As the number of dengue cases increased, patients started traveling to other places including Kathmandu and Chitwan for treatment. 1,433 men and 1,120 women have been infected with dengue in the last two months.…

According to a report of health department officials, Saturday West Bengal reported 635 new dengue cases. In the worst affected districts Kolkata, North and South 24 Parganas are counted.
