Skyroot Aerospace on Friday created history by sending India's first privately built rocket Vikram-S into space. The successful launch marks the entry of the private sector into the Indian space program, which has so far been government-controlled and funded. The Vikram-S rocket launched from the sounding rocket complex of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)'s Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh at around 11.30 am. Siliguri civic body to set up dengue cells in all wards

The Trinamool-run Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC) has decided to set up monitoring cells in all its 47 wards to keep a tab on vector-borne diseases and take necessary steps to prevent the spread of such diseases.
