The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has decided to withdraw Rs 2,000 notes from circulation. However, the existing notes will continue as legal tenders, the RBI announced on Friday. A worker was seriously injured when a bomb exploded while digging a pond in the land. The incident took place in Dinhata's Vetaguri South Baladanga area. According to local sources, Mozaffar Mia and another worker were digging a pond in a neighbor's land this morning. At that time a bomb under the ground exploded with a spade. Among the two, one of the laborers had already finished digging the pond, and the other, Mozaffar Mia, was seriously injured.
