Arjun Munda (Minister of Tribal Affairs) has launched Marketing and Logistics Development for Promotion of Tribal Products from North-Eastern Region (PTP-NER) scheme in the state of Manipur on 18th of April 2023. The main motive behind introducing scheme was to provide livelihood benefits to the STs of the North-Eastern Region(Assam, Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh).

Kamla Chhabra mother of popular casting director Mukesh Chhabra has breathed her last today. She passed at the age of 73. The filmmaker's mother was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.
