Swaminathan Janakiraman appointed as the Deputy governor of the Reserve Bank of India by the Union govt. for the tenure of 3 years from the date of joining , as per the reports. At present he is working as the Managing Director of SBI and will succeed Mahesh Kumar Jain whose tenure ends on 22nd of June 2023. Infosys an Indian multinational IT company co-founder Nandan Nikleni has planned to donate Rs 315 crore to his alma mater, IIT Bombay. As per the sources Nikleni has taken this decision in view of completing 50 years of association with the institute and it is intended to "fund world-class infrastructure, research in emerging areas of engineering and technology, and a deep tech startup ecosystem at IIT Bombay."
