Amazon India entered into an agreement with the five states namely Haryana, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu to uplift the status of physically challenged/disabled persons in the society. The MoU signed between Amazon and other five states aims to provide special training and guidance to employable Persons with Disabilities (PwD), which will help them to enter the working force of the country. Airtel to source 23,000 MWh renewables by Q4 for six Nxtra data centres

Telecom operator Bharti Airtel on Monday(4th of September 2023) announced the plan of purchasing 23,000 MWh(MegaWatt hour) of renewable energy by the 4th quarter of FY24, for its data centre subsidiary, Nxtra. This will be done by obtaining stakes in 2 renewable energy project companies — Vibrant Energy Holdings and Continuum Green India.
