The 3-day-long Livestock and Poultry Show 2023-24 began in Guwahati on 5th Jan 2024. The event will run until January 7 at the College of Veterinary Science Playground, Khanapara, in Guwahati. A trade agreement signed between Nepal and India on Thursday for Kathmandu to export 10,000 megawatts (MW) of hydroelectricity to India over the next 10 years, officials said, in a deal they expect will draw investment to the cash-strapped Himalayan nation.
