Coriander futures prices upgrade on demand

New Delhi: Coriander prices on Thursday rose by Rs 178 to Rs 7,708 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their positions following a firm trend in the spot market. At the NCDEX, coriander contracts for October delivery rose by Rs 178, or 2.31 per cent, to Rs 7,708 per quintal with a turnover of 11,600 lots. Market analysts said coriander prices rose on a firm trend in the spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions.

New Delhi: Guarseed prices rose by Rs 8 to Rs 5,203 per quintal in futures trade on Wednesday as speculators increased their bets amid a firm trend in the spot market. On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), the price of guarseed contract for October delivery rose by Rs 8, or 0.15 per cent, to Rs 5,203 per quintal in a business turnover of 46,225 lots. Coal output upgrade 12% in April-August

New Delhi: Coal production from captive and commercial mines across the country rose 11.88 percent year-on-year to 73.92 million tonnes (MT) during the April-August period of the current fiscal. Dry fuel production from captive and commercial mines was recorded at 66.07 million tonnes in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
