The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an orange alert north-eastern states as the states will soon face heavy to heavy rainfall in upcoming days. According to the IMD reports, the dates for the weather disaster are on May 27 & 28 Assam and Meghalaya to face extremely heavy rainfall. On the other hand, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura will witness on May 27. Further, Arunachal Pradesh will receive extremely heavy rainfall on May 28. And lastly, Sikkim will witness heavy rainfall on May 27 and 28, 2024.
