11,929 Coronavirus Cases In India In 24 hours

New Delhi: India's coronavirus tally rose to 3,20,922 cases today as it recorded the single-day biggest jump of 11,929 new infections in the last 24 hours and 311 deaths, the Union Health Ministry said this morning. A total of 9,195 COVID-19 patients have died so far, according to the government. This is the second consecutive day that India has recorded more than 11,000 new infections in one day. Delhi Plans To Add 20,000 Beds Within A Week

New Delhi, June, 14.2020 : The Delhi government plans to add 20,000 beds across the hotels and banquet halls of the city over the coming week to cope with the spiraling coronavirus cases. Approximately 11,000 beds will be arranged at 80 banquet halls and these beds will be attached to nursing homes, sources said. Around 4,000 beds will also be arranged at 40 hotels and will be attached to private hospitals in the city. Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) on Friday reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 3,255.02 crore for the quarter ended on March 31, 2020. The company, along with Mahindra Vehicle Manufacturers Ltd, had posted a net profit of Rs 969.25 crore a year ago. “The results were affected due to the lower industry volumes in both the automotive and tractor segments, transition to BS-VI and the abrupt lockdown due to the Covid-19 situation,” M&M said. The Mamata Banerjee government has decided to set up 200 safe homes in Bengal to keep Covid-19 migrant workers with no symptoms or with mild symptoms as part of a move to stem the disease’s spread in rural areas. “As of now, there are 5,587 active cases in the state.
