Mumbai: Security has been tightened at and around Mumbai’s Taj Hotel and Taj Lands End hotel after the authorities received a bomb threat call from Pakistan. A person who claimed to be a member of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror outfit made a call to the two iconic hotels at around 12 midnight on Monday and threatened to blow them up. New Delhi: Large swathes of the country is set to remain under lockdown as the government announced the second phase of the country's gradual emergence from restrictions. While lockdown will stay containment zones, the other areas will have certain relaxations in terms of night curfew and people's presence in shops. India govt banned TikTok, Shareit, UC Browser 59 Chinese apps. The move came amid tension with China following the June 15 clashes at Ladakh in which 20 Indian soldiers died in action and more than 70 were injured. The third Corps Commander-level meeting between India and China over the ongoing tensions in Ladakh will be held tomorrow, sources privy to the development have told India Today TV. The Dutch government started an auction Monday of new 5G wireless frequencies, with telecom companies bidding so they can provide customers with the faster mobile communication networks. The government says the online auction of 700, 1,400 and 2,100 megahertz frequencies could last days or longer and will raise a minimum of 900 million euros ($1 billion). A 3,500 megahertz frequency will be auctioned off at a later date because its use for 5G networks could interfere with the work of a satellite communications interception facility in the Northern Netherlands used by Dutch intelligence agencies.
