Mumbai’s Taj Hotel receives bomb threat call from Pakistan

Mumbai: Security has been tightened at and around Mumbai’s Taj Hotel and Taj Lands End hotel after the authorities received a bomb threat call from Pakistan. A person who claimed to be a member of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror outfit made a call to the two iconic hotels at around 12 midnight on Monday and threatened to blow them up. Following the bomb threat call, heavy security forces have been deployed outside the hotels and all roads leading to them have been closed. The Dutch government started an auction Monday of new 5G wireless frequencies, with telecom companies bidding so they can provide customers with the faster mobile communication networks. The government says the online auction of 700, 1,400 and 2,100 megahertz frequencies could last days or longer and will raise a minimum of 900 million euros ($1 billion).
