Lockdown extended in West Bengal

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday announced an extension of the biweekly lockdown till August 31. Mamata Banerjee said, “We are extending the two-day lockdown every week in the state, which was in force till July 31, till August 31”. Lowest Covid Cases In 3 Months at Mumbai

The country's financial capital reported 1,033 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday from tests conducted on Monday. The doubling rate in the city is 68 days now and Mumbai's recovery rate is at 73 per cent. The overall growth rate of coronavirus cases in Mumbai from July 20 to July 26 was 1.03 per cent. The government has banned 47 Chinese apps in India.
