After a long period of 6 months, Siliguri Iskcon Mandir reopened yesterday following all government protocols and safety measures. The public relations officer of Iskcon Mandir, Namkrishna Das, stated that from now on, the temple will remain open from 4 pm to 7 pm every day. However, only 10-15 visitors will be allowed to enter the temple at a time and must leave the premises within the specified time. No one will be allowed to roam around the temple premises unnecessarily.

Human clinical trials for a vaccine for Covid-19 have been initiated in the country with approximately 1,000 volunteers participating in the exercise for each of the two indigenously developed vaccine candidates, the ICMR said on Tuesday.
