A Parliamentary commission has noticed that there are up to 13,525 open positions in the Delhi Police, which equates to around 14% of the 94,254 authorised positions.The 3,861 open positions are being filled through a hiring procedure, according to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs, which is chaired by BJP MP Brijlal. On Wednesday, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma speaks on the allegation of communal target made by the opposition party against child marriage crackdown in Assam. The Chief Minister informed that equal number of Hindus and Muslim were arrested in the state during the child marriage crackdown.
