13,525 open positions in the Delhi Police

A Parliamentary commission has noticed that there are up to 13,525 open positions in the Delhi Police, which equates to around 14% of the 94,254 authorised positions.The 3,861 open positions are being filled through a hiring procedure, according to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs, which is chaired by BJP MP Brijlal. The committee suggested that the hiring process be finished within a set timeline.According to the committee's report, which was presented to Parliament on Friday, there are currently 13,525 open positions in the Delhi Police, which equates to around 14% of the 94,254 authorised positions.

On Wednesday, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma speaks on the allegation of communal target made by the opposition party against child marriage crackdown in Assam.
