On Wednesday, the rupee strengthened against the US dollar by 42 paise to close at 81.90 as strong buying in domestic shares boosted investor confidence. Additionally, forex dealers noted that the domestic currency was supported by inflows of foreign capital and an increase in risk appetite. Assam’s Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) and Head of Forest Force (HoFF) Mahendra Kumar Yadav has been removed as Chief Wildlife Warden (CWLW). Further a notification was issued that Sandeep Kumar, principal chief conservator of forests (Wildlife and Bio-diversity) cum project director, Assam project on forest and biodiversity conservation society will hold the charge of chief wildlife warden (CWLW) with immediate effect.
