Since few days in Manipur, Northeast there has been clash between the tribal community and the Meitei Community of the state. Due to the clash between tribals and members of the majority Meitei community in Manipur have led the tribal community flee from their own native state leaving their homes and properties. Assam has decided to sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nagaland for exploration of oil. But Nagaland has not yet decided to sign MoU with state. According to the reports, Nagaland government has decided to hold meeting with its stakeholders and tribal bodies of area before any confirmation about the agreement.
