Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that Assam Government will buy mustard seeds from the farmers at a higher rate under the Price Support Scheme (PSS). In Karimganj, Assam, a school principal got arrested for sexually assaulting a minor girl, student of the school. According to the reports, the principal named Asar Uddin called the girl in his room and tried to sexually assault her. On Monday, seven students of Assam Engineering were killed in a road accident in Guwahati, Assam. Along with seven deaths, six others were injured in the accident.
