State Assam’s capital from Shillong was moved to Dispur in the year 1972 and since then Assam had temporary building for Assam Legislative Assembly. On Monday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced of Assam to get new Assembly building by this year August, 2023. Assam BJP leader Jonali Nath found dead and the body was dump near National Highway 17 in Goalpara. Police informed the BJP leader death to be mysterious as many injured marks are found in the body also said that the lead was brutally attacked before dying. Assam CM announces mega sporting competition in Assam

On Sunday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced mega sporting competition across the state villages, Assam. The competition is organized to tap sport talents in the state. “We will organise a ‘Khel Moharon’ involving all 27,000 villages of the state. An order was directed to the police in Meghalaya to find people behind setting illegal coke plant in the state. Gas loaded tanker caught fire

On Wednesday, a gas loaded tanker met with an accident near Assam’s Sonapur area in Kamrup districts. According to the reports, the accident took place due leakage gas from the gas tanker bearing registration number AS-01FC-5453. The tanker caught into fire, immediately fire service personnel were rushed in the spot. A local police detailed about the incident saying, “The tanker was coming from Guwahati.
