An order was directed to the police in Meghalaya to find people behind setting illegal coke plant in the state. According to investigation, from Shallang area of West Khasi Hills most of the illegal coke plants operators are Assam based, police informed High Court of Meghalaya.  Also it was found that the land on which the illegal coke oven plant were operating belong to 32 persons, all of whom were females and mostly aged women.
