Amidst, border tension between regions of Northeast since past few years, Khanduli area of West Karbi Anglong district bordering Meghalaya, a committee from the regions was formed to resolve the border dispute. Karbi Students Association (KSA) Central Committee and Jaintia Students’ Movement (JSM) from Assam and Meghalaya was formed to maintain peace in the bordering area of West Jaintia Hill district and West Karbi Anglong district. Odisha government will soon start semiconductor manufacturing and fabless policy as it hopes to have at least one manufacturing unit and 100 fabless design companies in the state.
