Director-General of Police GP Singh on post said, "Reference threat to Hon Minister Sri Atul Bora on a Facebook post, Assam CID has been directed to register a criminal case and take lawful action.” According to the sources, on a facebook page of local news portal, Bora was threatened to be killed. Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu has announced to regularize 40,000 contractual teachers to permanent posts in government schools.
