42th edition of India International Trade Fair (IITF), 2023 took place at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Assam to get longest flyover in the state, stretching from Dighalipukhuri to Bamunimaidan. Also the work of the construction has begun and is all set to be ready by 2026. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma sharing a short clip of the construction site captioned, As promised, the work on Assam’s longest flyover from Dighalipukhuri to Bamunimaidan has begun. Few days ago, a tunnel got collapsed at Uttarakhand due landslide, the incident took place on 12 November trapping 41 workers inside the tunnel, since then the government started an operation to rescue the workers from the site. According to the reports, after 17 days of the operation the 41 workers were rescued finally after overcoming numbers of obstacles. Authorities can be seen garlanding the workers, embracing them and giving them sweets.
