Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh said on Sunday that Ladakh will soon have South East Asia’s first Night Sky Sanctuary. The Minister also informed that the Sanctuary is being set up with the help of the Indian Institute of Astrophysics Bengaluru which is affiliated with the Department of Science & Technology. Actually it will be located at Hanle village in Eastern Ladakh. In reality this is very good step taken by the government as people will able to see India’s first Night Sky Sanctuary which will help them to study science.
