President of India Draupadi Murmu was about to visit Assam's Karbi Anglong district on Wednesday but the trip got cancelled due to bad weather. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed by saying, "the president could not come to the festival due to bad weather. Due to inclement weather conditions, even I had to start at 4 am today." According to the sources, the President was about to visit the state to attend Golden Jubilee celebration of the Karbi Youth festival. However, the President has sent a video message for the people which will be soon played during the festival.
