At least 23 people die for landslide in Mexico City’s Metro Overpass

An improved section of the Mexico City Metro collapsed sending a metro that sank toward a busy boulevard late Monday night, City officials said at least 23 people were killed and 700 injured. Rescuers searched for a car hanging from the overpass for hours, fearing someone might still be trapped. Earlier, Shinebaum said someone was pulled alive from a car stuck on the road below. He said 49 of the injured have been admitted to hospital, and seven are in critical condition and undergoing surgery.
