Debolal Gorlosa, the chief executive member of the Dima Hasao Autonomous Council, opened the Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) in Ardaopur, Hatikhali, and the Government Model Degree College in Dibolong, Dima Hasao. On his Facebook page, CEM Gorlosa wrote: “We are incredibly proud and happy to be here to witness the opening of two institutions: the Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) in Ardaopur, Hatikhali, and the Government Model Degree College in Dibolong, Dima Hasao. Today is about more than just the opening of physical buildings; it’s about creating the groundwork for a better future in which education will be a potent tool for empowerment and change.
He went on, “We are planting the seeds of knowledge and advancement as we open these institutions today. In addition to empowering individuals, these institutions will support the district’s socioeconomic growth.” Alongside CEM Gorlosa were MAC Rupali Langthasa, DHAC Chairman Mohet Hojai, BJP District President and MAC Dhriti Thaosen, EMs Donpainan Thaosen and Niranjan Hojai, and other notable individuals. “These institutions represent a significant step toward improving educational opportunities and providing better learning facilities for the people of the region,” said Chairman Hojai, who attended the opening ceremony of these two universities. Since education is the foundation of growth, the construction of necessary infrastructure such as this will enable kids to get high-quality instruction and help to shape a better future for future generations.
