Assam Rifles seize Rs 19 crore worth of yaba tablets in Tripura, detain suspect

The Assam Rifles seized 120,000 Yaba tablets valued at Rs 19.2 crore in Salbagan, Agartala, on August 27. The operation also led to the detention of an individual and the seizure of a Bolero vehicle.

According to Assam Rifles, the successful operation was launched based on credible intelligence. The seized drugs, along with the detained individual and the vehicle, have been handed over to the Tripura Police for further investigation and legal action.
