Assam CM uses Facebook Live to announce important job appointments and development plans

During a Facebook Live conversation with the people, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma made a number of significant statements, including youth empowerment, infrastructure development, and government recruitment. The Chief Minister stated that the state government is determined to finish hiring a big number of people before the model code of conduct takes effect. Appointment letters for positions in the health department will be sent out on December 22, according to CM Sarma. On December 23, candidates from the tea garden community will receive their appointment letters.

He added that appointment letters for Grade IV positions under the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE) will be sent out on January 10. It is anticipated that appointment letters for Grade III positions under ADRE would be sent out around January 15. By February 10th, hiring for additional departmental positions will also be finished. The Chief Minister highlighted the administration’s progress in creating jobs by stating that Assam has successfully completed about 1.5 lakh government job appointments without a single court case.

Chief Minister Sarma praised Assam’s unprecedented recruitment achievements during his tenure. He announced Prime Minister Modi’s upcoming visit on December 20 to reveal significant aviation projects, including an Aerocity at Guwahati airport and a training facility. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to visit on December 29 to inaugurate several projects, including the Batadrava Than project and the Jyoti-Bishnu Cultural Auditorium. The Atmanirbhar Assam Abhiyan scheme will support 75,000 youths starting January 15, emphasizing the government’s commitment to employment, infrastructure growth, and youth empowerment in Assam’s development.
