Campaign for Bharat Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in poll-bound Gujarat in south Delhi’s Mehrauli is on.
While campaigning, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma, referring to the Shraddha murder case, said, “Someone from the police asked Aftab Poonawala, ‘Why do you date only Hindu women?’ In this, he said that Hindus are emotional.”
Narrating the incident, Sarma said, “When the police asked him, ‘Why do you bring only Hindu women?’, Aftab said that Hindus are emotional. This is not only the story of Aftab, there are several such Aftab-honoring events in the country. There is a strong need for strict laws against profit jihad.
Sarma said strict laws against profit jihad are needed in the country.
