The on-going border disputes between Arunachal Pradesh-Assam that was inked on 15 July to resolve the border dispute, Chief Minister level meeting was held between Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam Chief Minister and Pema Khandu, Arunachal Chief Minister in Guwahati.
Pema khandu through a tweet said, “It’s always delight to meet Assam CM Dr.@HimantaBiswaSarma ji. The Chief Ministers’ level meeting on ‘Assam-Arunachal Pradesh Border’ at Koinadhara will be a watershed moment in our collective resolve to address outstanding issues amicably.”
Assam Chief Minister replied to the tweet, “I am certain that the two states would soon reach an agreement that would take care of sensitivities & aspirations of all.”
According to the sources, both Chief Minister well accompanied the meeting that was held between the two.
