Ashish Samarpit from IIM Shillong won the Cluster 24 Finals of Tata Crucible Campus Quiz 2023, India’s prestigious business quiz. The North East region’s Ashish Samarpit won a cash prize of 35,000* and secured a spot in the Zonal Finals. Rohan Kumar Sinha from IIM Shillong was declared the runner-up, earning a cash prize of Rs. 18,000*.
The Campus Quiz this year is divided into 24 Clusters, with top 12 finalists from each cluster shortlisted for the Wild Card Finals. The top 6 finalists will compete in the 24 online Cluster Finals. The 24 Clusters are further grouped into four zones, each comprising six Clusters.
The Zonal and National Finals will be held online, with the National Finals being a ground event. The National Finals will see eight finalists compete for the National Champion title, a grand prize of Rs. 2.5 lakhs and the Tata Crucible Trophy. The winner and top two scorers will also win an internship with Tata Group. Quizmaster Giri Balasubramaniam, known as ‘Pickbrain’, will be accompanied by Quiz Co-host Rashmi Furtado for this edition of the Tata Crucible.
