APART project aims to boost agribusiness and rural transformation, Assam

Across Sonitpur district, the Assam Agribusiness and Rural Transformation (APART) Project has started two-month training program for 5,000 farmers to boost agribusiness and rural transformation in the state, Assam.

The initiative was inaugurated ceremonially at the No 2 Barchala-Chitalmari area in Sonitpur.

The aim of the program is to create awareness among farmers about various agricultural schemes, including the PM-Kisan, Kisan Credit Card (KCC), Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), and Paddy procurement.

During the initiative program government officials and business institution have given their attendance.
