Actor Amitabh Bachchan gifted his daughter Shweta Nanda his bungalow in suburban Juhu of Mumbai, according to official documents.
The ‘Prateeksha’ bungalow is worth over Rs 50.63 crore. It is the megastar’s first property in Mumbai and one of the three bungalows the Bachchan family is said to own in the area.
According to documents obtained from property registration data aggregator Zapkey.com, Bachchan handed over the bungalow to his daughter on November 9 as a gift and paid Rs 50.65 lakh as stamp duty.
The bungalow of Vitthalnagar Cooperative Housing Society is spread over two plots of 674 sq m and 890.47 sq m, with a combined value of over Rs 50.63 crore.
He also paid a registration fee of Rs 200 for each of the two plots gifted.
The larger plot measuring 890.47 square meters was owned by Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya Bachchan while the smaller plot was fully owned by Amitabh Bachchan.
A reply was awaited from Bachchan’s office.
