Alcatel Expands Offline Network in Assam Through Partnership with BSM Ventures

Alcatel has strengthened its offline retail presence in Assam by entering into a strategic partnership with BSM Ventures, a leading distribution house in the North East. The collaboration aims to make Alcatel’s innovative and reliable products more accessible to consumers while offering strong after-sales support and warranty.

BSM Ventures, led by Binoy Kumar Agarwala, has a proven track record of building visibility for consumer electronics and lifestyle brands across the region. Leveraging its retail expertise, the partnership is expected to significantly boost Alcatel’s footprint and deepen consumer engagement across Assam and the North East.

“At a time when disposable income is rising in the North East, this partnership will allow us to meet growing aspirations and create new opportunities for growth,” said Atul Vivek, Chief Business Officer, NxtCell India (Alcatel). Ansh Rathi, COO, NxtCell India, added that the initiative would not only strengthen regional connectivity but also pave the way for expansion into other states. In Guwahati, industry observers believe the collaboration could reshape consumer access to technology. With Guwahati emerging as a key retail hub for electronics, Alcatel’s offline presence is expected to tap into increasing demand and enhance competition among technology brands.
