AkzoNobel India, the maker of Dulux paints, has launched ‘Dulux Maestro’—a dedicated program aimed at supporting and empowering architects and interior designers across India. The initiative comes at a time when the Indian interior design market is projected to reach USD 81.2 billion by 2030, driven by a 14.3% CAGR and rapid urbanization.
RohitTotla, Executive Director, AkzoNobel India, said, “Dulux Maestro is our commitment to help design professionals create hyper-personalized, on-trend spaces for the design-conscious Naya Bharat.” The program integrates global insights, color visualization tools, and extensive business support including site inspections, expert consultancy, and technical training. Over 2,000 professionals have already joined Dulux Maestro, which has gone live in 16 cities across six regions, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, and Goa.
In Bardhaman, local interior designers and architects are optimistic about the program’s impact. With increasing demand for modern aesthetics in residential and commercial projects, the Dulux Maestro initiative is expected to enhance service quality and design capabilities in Bardhaman’s growing real estate and home décor market. AkzoNobel plans to expand the initiative to over 40 cities nationwide by 2025, solidifying its role as a design partner for India’s evolving urban landscape.
