Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam 2023 concluded

The Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam (ABSS) 2023 concluded with education leaders committing to transforming India into an equitable and vibrant knowledge society. Union Minister of Education Shri Dharmendra Pradhan delivered a valedictory address.Shri Dharmendra Pradhan announced Shiksha Parivar’s commitment to implementing National Education Policy (NEP) to make India a knowledge-based superpower. He urged the education fraternity to convert PM-Shri School into an All-India Institution and called for concerted efforts to strengthen the school ecosystem.

Pradhan prioritizes teacher capacity building, developing 300 institutions as centers-of-excellence this academic year, including school, higher education, and skill. The 2-day event featured 16 thematic sessions on School Education, Higher Education, and Skill Education, led by distinguished panelists. Brainstorm NEP 2020 implementation approaches, methodologies, roadmaps, strategies, knowledge exchange, challenges, stakeholder platform, and best practices.

An exhibition showcasing the best initiatives from the world of school and higher education and the skill ecosystem was a prominent attraction during the celebrations. The multimedia exhibition featured 200 stalls from institutions, organizations, and stakeholders, including Indian Knowledge Systems, Idea Labs, start-ups, and state universities. Nearly 2 lakh attendees attended, including students, youth volunteers, and Yuva Sangam participants.
