Comedian Raju Srivastava died on Wednesday at the age of 58, 41 days after being admitted to AIIMS in Delhi. His family member confirmed the news.
On August 10 Raju Srivastava was working out on the treadmill when he felt chest pain and collapsed. He suffered a heart attack while exercising at the gym. His trainer brought him to AIIMS Delhi and he was given CPR twice to revive his heart. After a long fight of 41 days, the comedian king died today. Raju Srivastava’s family members are currently at AIIMS. The family will decide whether to take him to Kanpur or Mumbai.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke to the comedian’s wife Shikha Srivastava and assured her of full medical assistance.
