Adani Skills & Education Foundation gets NCVET recognition as awarding body for port logistics

The National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) has granted the Adani Skills and Education Foundation recognition as an Awarding Body (Standard) after signing an agreement on November 26, 2025. With PAN-India territorial jurisdiction, the foundation is now authorised to award and certify learners for NCVET-approved qualifications in the port logistics sector.

According to NCVET, the collaboration strengthens accountability and quality assurance within the national skilling ecosystem, ensuring structured delivery of vocational programmes. The partnership taps into the Adani Foundation’s sectoral expertise in ports, logistics, and infrastructure, aligning training standards with industry needs and enhancing employability for youth across the country.

NCVET has approved the foundation’s first qualification under the Port Management domain, marking a major step toward addressing the growing demand for skilled professionals in one of India’s fastest-expanding sectors. Officials noted that this initiative will contribute to building a more competent workforce capable of supporting the country’s logistics growth.

The NCVET-Adani collaboration could benefit regions like Guwahati, where logistics activity is rising due to gateway connectivity and the expansion of river and land-based cargo routes. Training aligned to port and logistics standards is expected to support local youth seeking employment in warehousing, cargo handling, and multimodal transport operations that connect Guwahati to key eastern and Southeast Asian trade corridors.

NCVET said it looks forward to a productive association that will empower youth with credible skills and open national-level employment pathways.
