Aadhar Housing Finance Ltd reported a 22 per cent year-on-year increase in loan disbursements to Rs 2,577 crore in the second quarter of FY27, reflecting sustained demand for affordable housing finance. The company announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2026, on Thursday.
The company’s assets under management (AUM) grew 18 per cent year-on-year to Rs 32,643 crore, compared with Rs 27,554 crore a year earlier. In Kolkata, the performance comes amid continued demand for affordable housing finance, particularly among middle- and lower-income homebuyers. The company’s expansion and focus on underserved markets could strengthen access to housing credit in Kolkata and surrounding areas, where demand for affordable residential properties remains an important segment of the housing market.
MD and CEO Rishi Anand said the company would continue to focus on disciplined expansion, prudent underwriting and portfolio quality. He also highlighted the upgrade of its long-term credit ratings to AA+ (Stable) by India Ratings and ICRA. The company expanded its network to 632 branches across 23 states and more than 555 districts, following the opening of a branch in Jammu.
