A house was completely brought down to ashes by an incident of fire in Siliguri

An incident of fire was reported from DS Colony under Ward No. 34 of the Siliguri where a house was completely brought down to ashes. As per reports, on Monday night at around 2 a.m., a fire broke out at the residence owned by Pramila Paswan in the said area. Upon noticing the inferno, the inmates rushed outside and somehow managed to take out the gas cylinder. However, every other household item was gutted. Upon receiving the news, two fire engines arrived at the spot and controlled the prevailing situation very carefully.

Sources revealed that Pramila Paswan’s daughter is scheduled to get married in a few days and cash worth about Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand was kept in the house.Actually as a result of the devastating fire, gold jewellery, and cash were also burnt. In addition to household belongings, the inferno also gutted several documents. Actually this is very sad incident as people are losing so much wealth by fire. People should take this case strictly and should be extra careful so that they don’t get trouble in future.
