A blood-soaked body of a youth was recovered from the side of a bush at the Hasimara MES area on 9th May in Hasimara of Alipurduar district.
According to sources, on Sunday afternoon, the local people informed the police after seeing the dead body of a young man in the bushes along the railway line in the Hasimara MES area. The dead body has traces of trauma with a sharp weapon. Hasimara Out Post Police, Jaigaon SDPO, RPF, GRP have reached the spot and started investigating the incident. The body has been sent to Alipurduar District Hospital for postmortem. An investigation into the incident has been started.
