Today i.e July 20 West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2021 has been published. The results were announced in a press conference by President Kalyanmoy Ganguly. All 10.79 lakh students who had registered for class 10 board exams in the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) are pass. In the first time the WB Board has obtained a 100% pass percentage for the Madhyamik Result.
Not only have all the students been promoted with the highest ever pass percentage of 100% but also there is an increase in the number of toppers. This is the best result in current decade. With 697 marks A total no of 79 students have jointly hold the topper rank and 42,855 students got marks above 90%. More than 6 lakh students got marks above 80 percent.
Notably, this is also the first-ever result without exams for West Bengal Board. Even though last year’s exams were too marred by COVID-19 pandemic but several exams were held during pandemic. To evaluate the marks of the students the board has adopted a 50:50 approach giving class 9 finals and class 10 internals equal weightage.
