Having hosted its inaugural Test match against South Africa in November, ACA Stadium in Guwahati will again feature as one of five venues for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy series between India and Australia. The series will kick off with the first Test in Nagpur on January 21, followed by a Test in Chennai from January 29 to February 2. Guwahati will host its second Test from February 11 to 15 after an eight-day interval. The fourth Test will take place in Ranchi from February 19 to 23, culminating with the final Test in Ahmedabad starting February 27. BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia expressed congratulations to the Assam Cricket Association for securing the opportunity to host another Test, highlighting Guwahati’s track record in successfully hosting international sports events.
