Thirty SD cadets from Guwahati, Rangia and Dhubri have successfully completed a 12-day Army Attachment Camp at Military Cantonment Changsari under the aegis of Red Horn Division. The camp aimed to instill discipline, leadership, and teamwork among the cadets, while also providing them with an opportunity to learn from the Indian Army’s expertise.
During the camp, the cadets attended classes on weapon training, map reading, leadership, and drill. Apart from imparting knowledge and functioning of different arms and services of the Army the cadets were also acquainted with modern technologies like Drone Handling , Virtual Reality based training and combat medical aid.
The camp was designed to provide the cadets with hands-on experience and exposure to military life, helping them develop their skills and confidence. The successful completion of this Army Attachment camp is a testament to the cadets hard work and commitment of the Indian Army alongwith NCC in guiding the youth of Assam towards Nation building.
