The Tripura State Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up to launch a massive, statewide campaign from June 5 to June 21, marking the historic completion of 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led central government. The decision was finalized during a high-level organizational meeting held at the State Party Office, which focused on reviewing current party activities and mapping out grassroots strategies.
Speaking on the initiative, Tripura Industrial Development Corporation (TIDC) Chairman Nabadal Banik hailed the 12-year tenure as an era defined by “Service, Good Governance, Trust, and Public Welfare.” Banik emphasized that the upcoming programs will primarily focus on highlighting the central government’s developmental milestones and inspiring party workers to actively contribute toward the vision of a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India). Detailed guidance has been issued to the party cadre to ensure seamless execution of the events.
Echoing these sentiments, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) State Vice-President Vikki Prasad stated that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government officially completes 12 years in office on June 7, 2026. He attributed the nation’s progress to the Prime Minister’s steadfast “Nation First” resolve. Under the directives of State BJP President Abhishek Debroy, the fortnight-long celebrations aim to deeply engage local communities.
The preparatory meeting saw active participation from key leadership figures, including State Vice-President and campaign convener Tapas Bhattacharya, and Vice-President Papia Datta. The extensive series of upcoming programs is strategically designed to broadcast the central government’s achievements while significantly strengthening the BJP’s grassroots presence across Tripura.
