Arts Society Manipur and Manipur Cultural Integration Conference have announced winners of the 10th Maharajkumar Priyabrata Singh Arts Award 2024. Actually two candidates were selected from a number of nominations for the award by a jury on February 8. In fact the two winners are Waribam Nipola Devi (graphic) and sculptor Sairem Satyajit (honourable mention).
In reality the awards will be presented during the inaugural function of the 10th Maharajkumar Priyabrata Singh Arts Exhibition to be held at Manipur Art Gallery on February 17, according to a statement of Arts Society Manipur. This is actually good news as today people are giving their time for art and creating many great works. Actually doing art is very good thing as it gives many benefits and more people should come to this field. In fact this award is encouraging people so that they go in this line and become very good artist. In reality people in Manipur are very good in art and they should follow this line to become very successful.
