13 killed and 50 injured till now in this accident as it is a big incident. The accident occurred between two passenger trains on the Howrah-Chennai line last evening in Vizianagaram district. Actually nearly five months ago, a horrific accident also occurred involving three trains killed over 280 passengers in Odisha. This type of accident is big reason of concern as many people are dying by it and it should not happen.
Right now Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced financial assistance of 10 lakh rupees for the family of those who died. Those who suffered serious injuries will get 2.5 lakh rupees and passengers with minor injuries will get 50,000 rupees. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reviewed the situation and condoled the loss of lives. He announced 2 lakh rupees assistance for the family of those who died in the accident and 50,000 rupees for the injured. Actually people are very sad to hear this type of news and want more safety so that no more train accident occurs in future. In past this type of accident has occurred and it has given lots of pain to the people but with improving technology people expect that this type of accident should not happen and all train should run safely.
