ISRO is scheduled to launch Aditya-L1 from Sriharikota on Saturday 2nd September at 11:50 am on its way to Surya Abhiyan. After the success of India’s Chandrayaan-3 mission, ‘Pragyan’ is sending important information one after another. After the successful Chandrayaan-3 mission, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is going to move on to the Sun mission with Aditya-L1.
ISRO said that like Chandrayaan-3, the information related to this mission will also be made available to the general public. ISRO has already urged everyone to observe the mission. There is an opportunity to watch the launch live from ISRO’s Launch View Gallery. Live video of the launch will also be broadcast on ISRO’s Facebook page, YouTube channel. The spacecraft will be placed at the L-1 point of the Earth-Sun system. From this location, Aditya L1 will be able to observe the sun uninterruptedly without any obstruction or eclipse. Aditya-L1 spacecraft is built by Isroi. The spacecraft will search for information on the Sun’s corona and Earth’s climate, as well as its effects on space weather. The spacecraft is equipped with advanced instruments and sensors to withstand extreme conditions. Aditya-L1 spacecraft is designed for close observation of solar phenomena. The main objective of the Aditya-L1 mission is to closely observe the Sun. Give information about atmosphere and magnetic field. There will be seven payloads or instruments on board to study the Sun’s corona, solar emission, flares, coronal, moon ejections. The spacecraft will also have a facility to take pictures of the sun for 24 hours.
